I've really enjoyed learning Spanish this semester .At first the only thing I knew in Spanish were numbers but now I can say greetings ,my family, weather, months and days of the year, conjugate verbs and so on. The content was easy and simple to follow. I can definitely relate to the content.
The methodology course was very informative. I've learned about Gardner's Multiple Intelligence theory and Krashen Affective filter and how you can apply these theories into the classroom to make learning more effective.
Since we are living in the 21 century we have to keep up with technology. The computer application is a great method Ms. Verbena used to present her lessons. Whether she is in the classroom or not ,work is always there for you to learn.And you can always learn at your own spare time.
Some of the tasks were a bit challenging for me but never the less I tried my best to complete them. I've enjoyed making the pop up book and puppets.At least now I know how to make them.
The course was great.I've enjoyed it so much. I've enjoyed doing the quizzlets. The only thing I didn't like was that sometimes the videos took a while to open up. Besides that the process was excellent.
I think that other teachers should use this approach to teach some lessons of their subject.
